CRAFT ATTACK Crafters/Artists Set!
There are still a few open slots, so if you haven’t applied yet, it’s not too late. Just go to the CRAFT ATTACK! tab across the top of the page to find the link to the application.
There’s lots of work still to be done. Our next team meeting will be dedicated to CRAFT ATTACK. We need help with promotions now and in September. And there are lots of things that need to be done the day of the show for those not vending. An announcement of the next team meeting will be distributed as soon as Amelie’s confirms that we can use the atrium.

Our Website is Up!
Hornet's Nest Crafters
I even have our upcoming events integrated into the sidebar so you don't have to click a link to go to the calendar. We'll be modifying the theme to be a little more personal for us, but for now, at least we have a functional website. Assuming the WiFi works, I should be able to set people up with accounts if they want them at the meeting. I'll discuss this more at the meeting tomorrow.

February Field-trip TODAY
Jen posted this to the Carolina Etsy list a few days ago:
So, everyone's planning to come to the Alpaca Fair on Saturday
February 21st, right? It's at the Cabarrus Arena and Events Center on
Hwy 49 in Concord (directions at
http://cabarrusarena.com/pages/Direction.html) and runs from 8am-5pm.
Admission is free but there will be a small fee for parking. In
addition to cute critters there will also be vendors and demonstrations.
There hasn't been any chatter about specific times yet, but if we all get there by mid-afternoon (say 2 or 3?), then we can have some time to hang out and oogle tasty alpaca products before the show closes.
See you guys there!

January Meeting
The Charlotte Regional Etsy Team now has its very own site! Over the next few months we will be working on website design and adding functionality.
Our January meeting was on the 17th, and we had a huge turnout! Here’s a quick summary of what we covered:
- Members, please keep your eyes and ears open for potential meeting locations that can facilitate 15-20 people. We are outgrowing the B&N cafe!
- CPSIA updates (Etsy has a new forum section for this discussion now!)
- Advertising outside of Etsy: Project Wonderful, efficacy of paper ads, twitter, etc.
- Desired website content and functions
